There are two filters on Rapla user interface. The left hand side one is to filter the resources, the other side is the filter of each event.

This filter offers the ability to specify which resources(i.e. teaching staff, campus rooms) from the configuration tree are shown in the main calendar. It filters through and restrict the view you can view.

This filter offers the ability to turn on/off the events you want to show in the main calendar.
