Objective
Upon completion of reading this article, the user will know how to access Rapla on your computer.
Assumptions
- You have already read the Introduction to Rapla article
- You have downloaded Java run-time on your PCcomputer
- You have a valid Rapla user account

Rapla is supported by the Java Runtime environment. Please browse and download the latest version of Java to suit your version of the operating system. Please refer to https://www.java.com/en/download/.
Workflow
First-time access Rapla
After you open the URL, the below web page will appear:

- The first button [Start Rapla with Java webstart] will initiate a download of your Rapla.
- The second button [Start Rapla with Java Plugin] is not useful any more as standard modern web browsers whether don’t support Java browser plugin by default or refuse to support it at all.
- The third [Server Status] button allows you to check if the server is running correctly.
- The fourth [Exported Calendars] is very useful. It lists all the published web calendars configured under your username.
Login to Rapla
- Click on the first button [Start Rapla with Java webstart], it will download the JNLP file on your PC
- Click on the downloaded file, Rapla login window will pop up
- Enter the Username and Password and click on Login.
