Objective
Upon completion of reading this article, the user will have a better understand in regards to the main user interface of Rapla and filtering different views.

The main view is divided into three parts: The menu area up at the top, the selection area on the left side, and the the large calendar area in the centre.

This is the main view for any users
1. The left hand side of the window shows the Resources tree(top section) and Conflicted events (bottom section).
2. Top menu bar gives you the view from left to right: name of the current view, save this calendar, publish a URL calendar, filter for different views, current date of the week, and lastly period (terms).
