Overview

This section of the Course Record in Paradigm will set the Base Course Record if it allows online application, and the required (needed) attachments from applicants to submit when applying online. Note that the field name to Allow Online Application here will be or can be overridden by the same field name when you schedule a base course.

Workflow

1. Refer to the instructions on this page on how to Search and Edit a Course Record in Paradigm.

2. Once the Course Record is loaded, go to the to the COURSE APPLICATION DETAILS Form section, and check your settings on the following fields:

The highlighted fields below are defined as: (see Course Edit fields for more details)

A. Allow Online Application – If your institution uses the Silverband Online Applicant Portal, can an applicant apply for this course via that method? - Yes / No

B. (OPTIONAL) Online Application Course Enrolment Required AttachmentsSelect each of the attachment that an applicant is required to include as part of their application into this course of study: Required attachments (Admission, Course Letter, Course AHEGS, Academic Progression, Fee Help Invoice, General, etc.)

3. Another field name to consider is the Course Level which is under the EDIT COURSE DETAILS section on top of the Course Edit page. The Course Level dictates the forms or sections that will appear right after the applicant has selected a Course to apply, see related FAQ: Why are some forms or sections missing after I select a Course?

Make sure to click that it’s set to its intended level.
