Overview
Reports column headings may not be the terms used in your business or institution, and the ordering may not be the structure you want for easy interpretation and analysis. To present the data in the desired format including any naming localisations to remove the need for manual manipulation of the data prior to its use in supporting business decision making, Report Builder will allow you to rename and reorder fields. The renamed column names will appear in your output report headings, and their ordering as you specified.
Workflow
NOTE: The instructions below assume the following:
That you have already chosen a base or saved report and is already loaded in the system. If this is not the case, refer to the Step 1 - Select a Base Report instructions; and
That you have already selected the columns (data or information) you want included in your report output. If not, refer to the Step 2 - Add and Remove Fields instructions.

Example: from the original field names (Full Name and Enrolment Status Code), you renamed these fields to just (Name and Enrolment Status). Note that in the middle column, it will still give you the original field names of the fields that you’ve renamed.

NOTE: Given the output format screenshot below, notice the changes reflected on the output format from renaming and reordering the fields.
The renamed fields (Name and Enrolment Status) are now the headings on the report output instead of the original system field names which are (Full Name and Enrolment Status Code).
Note also the ordering of the column fields, it now reflects
