Another scenario where this error may occur is when a student is transferring internally between courses and is receiving study credit from one course towards the second course. This will only be an issue where the unit enrolment in the second course was assigned a unit enrolment status that is linked to a an element 355 value. Using the bulk transfer credit function found on the screen: STUDENT > Course Enrolment > Units will avoid this issue entirely. Refer to the workflow regarding the action: “Transfer Credit to the selected units to the degree”.
To resolve the validation error, the preferred remedy is to trigger a “Delete from TCSI” against the unit enrolment in the second course.
