How to create a User / Contact Login Credentials Credentials

  1. Click on on Contact tab  tab in the side menu.
  2. Click on on Search in the Side MenuEnter any combination of Given name, Surname, Home Institution, Status, Contact role (Paradigm requires at least one search criteria) in the side menu.
  3. Enter at least one of the following options in to the relevant search box: 
    • Given Name 
    • Surname
    • Home Institution
    • Status
    • Contact Role 
  4. Click on the Search ContactImage Added button
  5. To filter the list of contacts, in the search box Image Added above the list of contacts, start typing the contacts's first or given name. 
  6. This will return a list of contacts that meet the searched criteria
  7. To reduce the returned options start typing the name of the unit into this box Image Modified The returned results will reduce to match the criteria.
  8. Click on the blue hyper link on the left side of the required recordWhen you see the record for the contact you are looking for, click on the contact role for that contact, highlighted in blue in the left column of that row.
  9. Click on the login Login option in the Side Menuside menu.
  10. The new contacts user name will be automatically generated in the User Login Id Field  field based on the details added to the contact record.
  11. Create Enter a new password for the user. The password policy requires all of the parameters below and the save button will not appear until all requirements have been met.
    • A minimum of 8 Characters
    • A combination of upper and lowercase letters
    • At least 1 number
  12. Click the Save User Login Button
  13. From the Assigned Security for user Login section select the requires access level for the new user
  14. Click the Assign Security Button
  15. Click the Enable User Login Button

How to update a User / Contact Password

  1. Click on on Contact tab  tab in the side menu.
  2. Click on on Search in the Side MenuEnter any combination of Given name, Surname, Home Institution, Status, Contact role (Paradigm requires at least one search criteria) in the side menu.
  3. Enter at least one of the following options in to the relevant search box: 
    • Given Name 
    • Surname
    • Home Institution
    • Status
    • Contact Role 
  4. Click on the Search ContactImage Added button
  5. This will return a list of contacts that meet the searched criteria
  6. How to disable a User Contact Login and User Record

  3. Enter at least one of the following options in to the relevant search box: 
    • Given Name

    • Home Institution

    • Contact Role 
  4. Click on the Search ContactImage Added button

  6.   9. Click the Disable User Login Button Image Addedbutton. Check the Enabled option is set to No 
  10. Click the Remove Security Button Image Addedbutton
  11. Click the Contacts tab in the Side side menu
  12. Click the Edit Details Details option in the Side Menuside menu
  13. Scroll down to the Other details section
  14. Click on the Status drop box and set the Status status to Archived or inactive
  15. Click the Save Contact Contact Image Addedbutton.
