Go to your web browser and search for "Java Run-time download"
Install either the Oracle Java version or the license free alternative OpenJDK
Download the latest version of your operating system
Workflow
You’ll need the driver from the google drive (or someone else’s install dir : lib) to connect to Atlantis
Download the iReport installer URL: https://sourceforge.net/projects/ireport/files/iReport%20%28classic%29/iReport-3.0.0/
Choose to download iReport version 3.0
Save the installer file to your preferred folder on your computer. By default, it will be saved into your Downloads folder
4. Double click on the downloaded installer file and follow the instructions to complete the iReport 3.0.0 Setup Wizard (Don't choose to run iReport at the end of the install process)
5. For the first time to launch iReport, if it is not already on your desktop. You can search iReport application faster by click on the windows icon and type in iReport.
6. Once iReport is running:
click on the Datasources icon or click the menu options Data → Connections/Datasources.
Create a new datasource for a client (using morc as an example because it contains the legacy lsi view):
Name: morc
JDBC Driver: org.postgresql.Driver
JDBC URL: jdbc:postgresql://localhost:60091/morc?currentSchema=ems_morc
Server Address: localhost
Database: morc
User Name: staff_[your name] without the space
password: [YourPassword]
tick the box to save password
Click the Test button and if the connection is successful, click the Save button.
If the test is unsuccessful, check that you’ve entered the above details correctly and ask for help if necessary.
7. Right click to the icon and pin it to the taskbar for quick access next time.
