TCSI Error Description

The Year of Arrival in Australia (E347) is inconsistent with the Country of Birth Code (E346).

Please check the Year of Arrival in Australia (E347) and the Country of Birth Code (E346). The Year of Arrival in Australia (E347) must not be reported for a student born in Australia (E346 is '1101', '1102' or '1199').

Error Logic

It is likely that the TCSI Data Entry Portal has a value of 9999 for either or both of these two fields. This was an allowable value for the fields during the early migration to TCSI but it is no longer an allowed value.

Paradigm Error Resolution

• Make sure that the following fields in the student record in Paradigm are consistent:

  • Year arrived in Australia [E347] - location: Student > Student Details > Student TCSI confirm details

  • In what country were you born [E346] - location: Student > Student Details > Student TCSI confirm details

• After making sure that the two fields mentioned above are consistent or even if the two fields are already showing the correct value - attempt to resubmit the student details by saving the record again in Paradigm.

• If the error persists, login directly to the TCSI Data Entry Portal and clear the two fields by setting the fields to blank. Once done, you should then return to Paradigm and attempt to submit the record again.
