This page introduces the requirements of preparing the file while using import wizard.

  • You have the level of access required to access the system tab.

  • You have an understanding that making changes within this function can have system wide implications.

  • You have an understanding of the various permission levels within your institution and the access levels that staff need in order to complete their duties.

  • You have an understanding of the Australian Tertiary Education System / VET Sector.

Key terms and concepts

Requirements:

  • File must be in CSV format

  • All fields in your source file must be present in any future import attempts

  • All fields must in the file must be in the exact same order

  • All fields must have a value (with the exception of census date, min/max participants)

Implications

Due to the complexity of import wizard as well as it has a system-wide implication. we highly recommend our clients to prepare the file and let Silverband Support team to create the logic for the saved import profiles.


Workflow

 1. How to navigate to the Import Wizard

  1. Click on the System tab within the side menu

  2. Click on the Import Wizard option within the side menu
