Overview

Upon reading this article you will be able to Search for, Add New, and Edit base units

...

Note

BE ADVISED: Before a student can be enrolled into a Unit:

  • The unit / subject must have already been created as a Base Unit;

  • The Base Unit must then be scheduled, by creating a scheduled unit record, giving it a specific time period for delivery, a census date, and a venue;

  • WARNING: It is critically important that providers ensure their Scheduled Unit records have been coded without errors BEFORE creating new student Unit Enrolments as part of an upcoming enrolment period; and

  • Once these have been done, the student can now be enrolled in the Scheduled Unit.

NOTE: Some of the fields within the Add Unit section are required by either or both sections of Government reporting (HEIMS and AVETMISS).
