    2 Types of User Permissions in RAPLA:

    As an administrator in RAPLA, you have access to all the Configuration Folders on the Side Menus, which would give you permission to create users, switch in between accounts, create time periods, etc. Basically, all possible functionalities and features in RAPLA that you are allowed to manipulate – you have control over.

    Non- Administrator

    As a non-administrator user of RAPLA, you are only allowed to see the Resources Configuration Folder on the Side Menus, which would allow you to create or add new events.

    . How to create a new account 
    1. Expand the Users folder on the left hand side to reveal a list of the current users.

    2. Hovering the mouse at the Users section, right click and highlight New, and click on User.

    3. The following dialog will appear

    4. Type in Username (refer to user's log in name), Name (display name under the Users folder) and email address

    5. Choose to assign the user permission as an administrator or not. 

    6. Click on Save button.

    Change a User Permission Level

    NOTE: The instructions below assume that the user has already been added in RAPLA and that you just want to change its permission level from an Administrator to Non-Admin or the other way around.

    Select the user from the Users Configuration Folder on the Side Menus. Right click on it and select Edit.

    A pop-up window will appear with all the details of the selected user, go to the Administrator field section (select the required user permission based on the description of the options for this field below).

    Yes

    Select Yes if you want the user to be an Administrator will all the privileges discussed above

    No

    Select No if you want the user to only create events in RAPLA and nothing more

    Archive Inactive User Accounts

    WARNING

    Rapla RAPLA will not allow you to delete a user account that has created one or more events. Instead we advise changing the password to "retire" user accounts that are no longer required.

    Hovering the mouse at this inactive user you want to archive, right click

    Select the user from the Users Configuration Folder on the Side Menus. Right click on it and select Change Password.

  • Simply create a new password for this inactive user, enter in twice.

  • First to check the current User from the top right hand corner

    . In this case, Silverband is the current logged in user.

  • Hover your mouse to the user you want to log in and right click Switch to

  • You will notice the screen has been refreshed with a welcoming message from the top right hand corner.

  • If you want to log back in the original user account. Go to left hand top corner and Click on File, select Administrator and click Switch back

  • You will log back to your original account.Image Added
