Setting Mandatory or Required Fields
NOTE
Setting mandatory and required fields on the Application Portal is part of the onboarding process. Technically, you have already defined all required fields that you want the applicant to fill out when applying to your Course Offer before you start accepting applicants. If you will add or make some changes to your current mandatory or required fields, raise a ticket, or contact our Support Team.
Marking Field Visibility and Editability (Form Fields)
Refer to the Edit Form Fieldsdocumentation in Confluence if you want more details on the instructions below.
The fastest way possible you can make the fields visible (found in the Application Portal) is to copy the LINK/URL of the specific Application Portal page where the fields you want to hide is/are located to your main FULL ADMIN Paradigm account.
Once the page is opened on your Paradigm FULL ADMIN account, you will now have the option to click on the Edit Labels button, right on top, click the
icon on each field that you want to hide, and select the EDIT FORM FIELD option.

In the sample screenshot above, if you want the Preferred Name field hidden, you select the EDIT FORM FIELD option, click the TOGGLE ALL button to remove all the checkmarks and click the SAVE FORM FIELD button. Refreshing the page on the Application Portal will let you check if the field is indeed hidden successfully.
Changing Label Text (Edit Labels)
You follow the same instructions as above when changing the field label text. Just select the EDIT LABEL option instead of the EDIT FORM FIELD. Refer to the Edit Labelsdocumentation for more details on editing labels in Paradigm.
