NOTE
There are three time configurations that will play a big role in using the Application Portal and Student Portal which are to be maintained every time you open a Course for application/enrolment, see System > Edit Time Period for more information on Time Periods in Paradigm.
1. Refer to the instructions on Edit Time Period – Edit Configuration Periodsection on how you can edit the following Time Periods in Paradigm which are related to the Application and Student Portal.
UNIT_ENROLMENT – it controls the scheduled units the student can enrol from the Course Plan
ENROLMENT_PERIOD – period that opens or closes the Course Plan to students [opens and closes online enrolments for students].
APPLICATION_PERIOD – it controls the date (timeframe) when an applicant is allowed to apply to any of your course offeringsThis is the most important Time Period Configuration for your Application Portal. This defines when the applicant portal is open to accept applications. The first thing this time period controls is the applicant registration screen, see Step 1 – Register using the Online Registration Form. When the time period has passes, the applicant registration screen is locked and no new applicant accounts may be created.
