Overview

When resolving a student’s record or information in Paradigm or troubleshooting for errors, or simply just checking the values that the student record has been sending to TCSI, it is very convenient if you can view the student’s data which are reportable to the government. However, we understand that not all users of Paradigm have access to the TCSI Data Entry Portal, thus, we added the Get all student TCSI Datadata menu in Paradigm to help all users – in your TCSI resolution endeavours. This knowledge article will give you an overview of this feature, with links to all the possible values and codes a student record can send and receive to and from TCSI.

Using the Get all student TCSI

• The Get all student TCSI Data data will return the values you sent to TCSI from Paradigm for each student record (that you want to check the data values being reported).

• The values and fields will depend on each student’s circumstance – with all the required fields reportable to the government.

• The fields in the sample form screenshots below are just some of the many possible field values a student record can send and receive from Paradigm to TCSI. For more details on all the element IDs from Paradigm which are reportable to the government, the equivalent Paradigm field names, and where in Paradigm you can locate each element ID, refer to these knowledge articles:

Workflow

1. Load the student record in the system that you want to get all TCSI reported data.

The tables below each screenshot (taken from a sample student record under theGet all student TCSI Datadata section in Paradigm) have the TCSI Data Element number which will direct you to the government website if you want more details on the element name.

The values specified by the government will be the possible values you will see (sent from Paradigm and returned by the government) when using the Get all Student TCSI Datadata menu in Paradigm.

The page would consist of the following sections, depending on each student's circumstancecircumstances:

STUDENT DETAILS

The Student Details section is where you can see all the student’s reportable information to the government, see Student Group> Student Packet in on the TCSI website for more details. The screenshot below will give you an overview of the possible values or codes you can see on each field when using the Get All Student all student TCSI Datadata. Some values are set to X to represent the actual data, and the dates are set to the date format.

Below the STUDENT DETAILS section are the subpackets. Again, each record will depend on each student’s circumstancecircumstances. In the sample screenshot below, there are two tabs: Student Citizenship and the Student First Address. Note that the First Reported Address packet will only have values or codes returned if the student will report or amend their address information.

COURSE ADMISSIONS

This section is designed to let you view all the possible reportable fields and values of the student’s course enrolment record, see TCSI Course admissions Groupand Paradigm Course Enrolment page for more details.

The sample screenshot below is an overview of the values or codes you can see under the Course Admissions packet and the Basis for Admission packet. Again, the display on in this section will depend on each student circumstance student’s circumstances (this should contain all the student’s information or fields which are reportable to TCSI under theTCSI Course Admissions Group). Note that you need to click the SUBPACKETS button for you to see more subpacket 's data or information under this section.

UNIT ENROLMENTS

This sections section contains the student’s Unit Enrolment packet data or information which are reportable to the government, see the TCSI Unit Enrolment Grouppage for more details.
