Objective

Upon Completion of this KB the user will have an understanding of what sections are available within the Units details tab.

Assumptions

  • The User has the minimum required level to access the Units tab and an understanding that making changes within this section has system wide implications.
  • The user has an understanding of the Australian Tertiary Education System.
  • The User has an understanding of the Units and Courses within your Institution for scheduling and timetabling.

Add NewNew base units are created / added in this section. It is important to check if a unit already exists in the system prior to creating a new base unit
Edit DetailsOnce created a base unit can be edited in this section. However if a base unit has already had scheduled units against any changes will not effect historical scheduled only ones created after the update.
Show Scheduled UnitsA list of all scheduled units for a particular base unit can be found here
Unit Competency editA list of nationally accredited VET competency can be found here. These can be added to the scheduled unit for Government reporting purposes

How to Load the Unit details section

  1. Click on the Unit tab in the Side menu
  2. Click on the Unit details option in the side menu
  3. Click on the required option with in the detail details options
  4. The unit details sub menu has now been loaded
