Overview

After creating your Paradigm Sessions for a specific time period, you can now synchronise your data to Paradigm. You have to do due diligence when it comes to your data entry for the data migration to run smoothly. This knowledge article will guide you on how to setup the integration between RAPLA and Paradigm.

It is very important to that you have reviewed the correctness of your data entry in RAPLA before you will proceed to following the Workflow below. Some of the required and critical fields are listed on the table below for review. All these fields are also mentioned in the Create Sessions or Events page.

How to synchronise

Rapla sessions

RAPLA Sessions to Paradigm

  • Click on the System tab in the side menu

  • Click on the Rapla Session Import side menu option.

    NOTE: The instructions below assume that you have the FULL ADMIN account access level in Paradigm to manage the data synchronisation from RAPLA to Paradigm.

    1. Log into your Paradigm account.

    2. Choose System > Rapla Session Import menus on the side. It will lead you to the following page:

    3. Enter the start date of the Academic year in the date from field and select SemesterEnter the end date of the Academic Year in the to date field and select Semester Semester Start and End Date of the sessions that you want to import.

    4. Enter a Session Unit Code is optional  if you only want a specific or one unit code to be imported.

    5. Select a scheduled Scheduled Unit Provider that you want to import across from RaplaRAPLA.

    6. Click on the Update Sessions UPDATE SESSIONS button.

    INFO: You can check in Paradigm if the import was indeed successful by searching for the Scheduled Units and go to the Sessions section.
