This The Side menu is a section of the whole KB, by having this section, user will be able to jump to the any part of KB with a click.

Note that this you can create dot point as sub headings under each sections and they will show up in this table as sub links.

Objective

This is the a short description of the content of the KB, it gives user an idea of what they will be able to achieve with all the information from this KB.subset of the Tabs in the Paradigm System. These pages are the sub-menus within the side menu. 

The System Tab and Side Menu Editing options are normally reserved for your higher end or power users. Within this section of the system changes to the actual system can be made.

Upon Completion of this KB the User will be able to Search and Edit Side Menu options within the Side menu.

Implications

Editing data in any of these options has implications across the entire system and at various if not all security levels. 

If a Side Menu option is  hidden for  particular security level all of the sub pages are included with it e.g. if the Units Details Side menu option is hidden then Add new, Edit Details, Show Scheduled units,Unit Competency Edit Pages are all not available to those users. 

Please ensure that any changes or updates are carefully thought through all of the implication prior to actioning.


Workflow

1 How to Search and Edit the Tabs

1.1 Click on the system tab within the side menu

1.2 Click on the Edit Side Menu option with in the Side Menu


1.3 Select the Permission level to be edited (See list above)

1.4 Click on the pencil icon Image Addednext to the option to be edited

1.5 Update the fields to be edited (Please note: Only label, Alt Text, Order number and Visibility can be edited)

1.6 Click on the Save Side Menu Button.
