Key Terms and Concepts
The Student reviews are designed for any unit or situation that would require a student to be reviewed e.g. placements, internships, academic reviews, mentors etc. A reviewer can be added or associated with a student record. Reviewers can then complete the review report page with the required details which can be saved, printed and emailed.

Workflow
How to Assign the Role of Reviewer to a Contact / Staff Member
These instructions assume that a contact has already been created and the role of reviewer is just being added
- Click on Contact tab in the side Menu
- Click on Search in the side Menu
- Enter any combination of Given name, Surname, Home Institution, Status, Contact role (Paradigm requires at least one search criteria)
- Click on the Search Contact button
- This will return a list of contacts that meet the searched criteria
- To filter the returned options start typing the name of the unit into the search box. The returned results will reduce to match the criteria.
- Click on the blue hyperlink on the left side of the required record
- In the Assigned Roles For Contact section click on the drop box at the bottom of the section
- Select the Reviewer option
- Click on the Assign Role button
- The Reviewer role has now been added to the Contact's / staff member's account.
How to Assign / Add a Reviewer to a Student / Student Record
- Click on the Student tab in the side menu
- Click on the Search option in the side menu
- Enter at least one of the following options in to the relevant search box:
- Student No,
- Preferred Name,
- Given Name,
- Family Name / Surname,
- Previous Last Name
- Click on the Search Student button
- This will show a list of students that meet the searched criteria
- To Filter the results, In the search box above the list of students, start typing the student's first or given name, to reduce the number of results
- When you see the record for the student you are looking for, click on the student number for that student, highlighted in blue in the left column of that row
- The student's record has now been loaded
- Click on the Course Enrolment option in the side menu
- Click on the Course option in the side menu
- Click on the Actions button next to the Course to be loaded. The Action menu will open
- Click on the Edit option in the Action menu
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Contact Search section
- Enter at least one of the following options in to the relevant search box:
- Given name
- Family / Surname
- Contact Role
- Click on the Search All Contacts button
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Click on the Add Contact as Reviewer icon next to the contact / staff member to be added as a Reviewer
- The Contact has now been added to the student's record as a Reviewer
How to Delete / Remove a Reviewer from a Student's Record
- Click on the Student tab in the side menu
- Click on the Search option in the side menu
- Enter at least one of the following options in to the relevant search box:
- Student No,
- Preferred Name,
- Given Name,
- Family Name / Surname,
- Previous Last Name
- Click on the Search Student button
- This will show a list of students that meet the searched criteria
- To Filter the results, In the search box above the list of students, start typing the student's first or given name, to reduce the number of results
- When you see the record for the student you are looking for, click on the student number for that student, highlighted in blue in the left column of that row
- The student's record has now been loaded
- Click on the Course Enrolment option in the side menu
- Click on the Course option in the side menu
- Click on the Actions button next to the Course to be loaded. The Action menu will open
- Click on the Edit option in the Action menu
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Contact Search section
- Click on the Delete icon next to the Contact to be removed from the Students record
- A warning message will appear - Are you sure that you want to delete the selected item? Click the OK button
- The Contact has now been removed from the Student's record
How to Create a Student Review
- Click on the Student tab in the side menu
- Click on the Search option in the side menu
- Enter at least one of the following options in to the relevant search box:
- Student No,
- Preferred Name,
- Given Name,
- Family Name / Surname,
- Previous Last Name
- Click on the Search Student button
- This will show a list of students that meet the searched criteria
- To Filter the results, In the search box above the list of students, start typing the student's first or given name, to reduce the number of results.
- When you see the record for the student you are looking for, click on the student number for that student, highlighted in blue in the left column of that row.
- The student's record has now been loaded.
- Click on the Course Enrolment option in the side menu
- Click on the Reviews option in the side menu
- Click on the Add Review icon
- Scroll Down to the Student Review Details section
- Enter the required data for the report
- Click on the Save Student Review button
How to View a Previous Review
- Click on the Student tab in the side menu
- Click on the Search option in the side menu
- Enter at least one of the following options in to the relevant search box:
- Student No,
- Preferred Name,
- Given Name,
- Family Name / Surname,
- Previous Last Name
- Click on the Search Student button
- This will show a list of students that meet the searched criteria
- To Filter the results, In the search box above the list of students, start typing the student's first or given name, to reduce the number of results
- When you see the record for the student you are looking for, click on the student number for that student, highlighted in blue in the left column of that row
- The student's record has now been loaded.
- Click on the Course Enrolment option in the side menu
- Click on the Reviews option in the side menu
- Scroll down to the Previous Student Reviews section
- Click on the Action on the right hand side of the review required
- Select the View option from the Actions menu
- The Review has now been loaded to view
How to Edit a Previous Review
- Click on the Student tab in the side menu
- Click on the Search option in the side menu
- Enter at least one of the following options in to the relevant search box:
- Student No,
- Preferred Name,
- Given Name,
- Family Name / Surname,
- Previous Last Name
- Click on the Search Student button
- This will show a list of students that meet the searched criteria
- To Filter the results, In the search box above the list of students, start typing the student's first or given name, to reduce the number of results
- When you see the record for the student you are looking for, click on the student number for that student, highlighted in blue in the left column of that row
- The student's record has now been loaded.
- Click on the Course Enrolment option in the side menu
- Click on the Reviews option in the side menu
- Scroll down to the Previous Student Reviews section
- Click on the Actions button on the right hand side of the review required
- Select the Edit option from the Actions menu
- Update the required information
- Click on the Save Student Review button
How to Print a Previous Review
- Click on the Student tab in the side menu
- Click on the Search option in the side menu
- Enter at least one of the following options in to the relevant search box:
- Student No,
- Preferred Name,
- Given Name,
- Family Name / Surname,
- Previous Last Name
- Click on the Search Student button
- This will show a list of students that meet the searched criteria
- To Filter the results, In the search box above the list of students, start typing the student's first or given name, to reduce the number of results.
- When you see the record for the student you are looking for, click on the student number for that student, highlighted in blue in the left column of that row.
- The student's record has now been loaded.
- Click on the Course Enrolment option in the side menu
- Click on the Reviews option in the side menu
- Scroll down to the Previous Student Reviews section
- Click on the Actions button on the right hand side of the review required
- Select the Print option from the Actions menu
- The report is now ready to be printed
How to Delete a previous review
- Click on the Student tab in the side menu
- Click on the Search option in the side menu
- Enter at least one of the following options in to the relevant search box:
- Student No,
- Preferred Name,
- Given Name,
- Family Name / Surname,
- Previous Last Name
- Click on the Search Student button
- This will show a list of students that meet the searched criteria
- To Filter the results, In the search box above the list of students, start typing the student's first or given name, to reduce the number of results
- When you see the record for the student you are looking for, click on the student number for that student, highlighted in blue in the left column of that row
- The student's record has now been loaded
- Click on the Course Enrolment option in the side menu
- Click on the Reviews option in the side menu
- Scroll down to the Previous Student Reviews section
- Click on the Actions button on the right hand side of the review required
- Select the Delete option from the Actions menu
- The report has now been deleted
