7. Publish HTML Calendar View
Now that you are done creating events and sessions, you have the option to publish your timetable in HTML format. This is very useful if you want other staff members to view all, or some part of the sessions or events, without the need of getting them logged into Rapla. This knowledge article will guide you on how to publish an HTML Calendar View of the sessions or events in Rapla.
NOTE
The HTML output, view, or display will depend on your current Main Calendar View. It is very important that you are already familiar with all the factors that will affect your main view before you use the Publish menu in Rapla. You can revisit the Rapla User Interface page if you have questions with the instructions of the Workflow below.
Once you publish or share the HTML link, it presents a live calendar view of Rapla such that when an admin or other users change or edit the sessions of that timetable, the users who view from the HTML link your provided will get an updated (spontaneous) view of the changes made.

The only variable that the user can control or navigate in an HTML view is the date section;
The main HTML view page layout is dependent on the Calendar Types view you’ve selected as discussed in the Rapla User Interface: Calendar Types page section; and
The sessions or events included in the published HTML page is dependent on the Side Menus variables you’ve selected, and the Filters you’ve applied.
1 After you’ve set your Main Calendar View, click the Publish button on the upper left hand side of the Top Menu Bar (as highlighted in the screenshot below).
2 A new pop-up window will appear. Refer to the following fields or options you can set.

 | Title | You can write up a title. It will show on the published HTML calendar view, e.g. Default Timetable |
Show navigation bar | It allows to switch between dates to view the scheduled events | |
Include date: dd/mm/yy | Allows the HTML view to display or start from the specified date in Rapla to the published HTML view | |
Only allocation information | Check this option if you will not see details associated to events. Event resources will still be displayed but will not reveal the full details. If not checked (by default), the session details will look like this: While if checked, it will look something like this: | |
URL | The web link for you to copy and paste into a web browser NOTE: The link on this section is specific to the configurations you’ve made in Rapla prior to publishing, any changes made to the sessions or events will automatically be updated when the page is refreshed. |
3 With the copied URL, click the Save button.
4 Open a new window, copy and paste the URL you just copied to view the HTML Calendar View of the sessions or events selected (see sample display output below). You can also send this link to whoever you want in your business or institution.
