Behind the scenes Paradigm uses the Jasper reporting engine to generate letters or other PDF based reports requested by end users. The report templates are coded in XML using a WYSIWYG editor program called iReport. This is an open source piece of software meaning it is free to download and use without a commercial license. If you have previously used software such as Crystal Reports then you will find iReport to be a similar experience.
