Page Contents
Assumptions
You have already installed Rapla
You have basic knowledge about Rapla
You have a Rapla admin user permission
Key terms and concepts
Folder | Description |
---|---|
Users | Refer to how to create Manage User Accounts this article |
Event Type | You can create new event, e.g. (sessions, tutorials, lectures can integrate to Paradigm) |
Periods | Refer to below workflow in how to add time periods on Rapla |
Categories | Contact Silverband if you require customisation and set up |
Implications
1. Do not change appointments under events for dates where attendance has already been recorded;
2. Do not change Session Seq ID nor Session Group number. If you change the Session Seq ID (aka Session Class) and Session Group number for an event after you have begun enrolling students into specific sessions then you are likely to lose the session enrolments when you re-sync with Paradigm.
Workflow
How to add Time Periods (new semester) on Rapla
Hover your mouse to Periods on the left hand of Configuration section
Right click on Periods, and select New → Periods
A Edit Resource window pops up, enter the Name, start and end date of this time period you want to create, e.g. Organisational name_2019_Trimester X.
Click on Save button.
How to clear active filters
There are two filters on Rapla's interface. Check User Interface this page for more information.
The left hand side filter has the system-wide implication.
No active filter on resources | Active filter is turned on |
---|---|
Select everything on resources folder | Untick the Equipment in Resources folder. Resources folder only shows Facility and Staff sub-folders. |
