Overview
The following will guide you on how to troubleshoot TCSI Validation Errors per student record. The instructions in the workflow below assume that all your other records (e.g. Campus/Provider, Courses record) are already valid - submitted without errors to TCSI. The workflow below focuses on each student record - from the TCSI reportable student information to course enrolments down to unit enrolments.
Workflow
Follow the instructions below in order (1-4) in resolving TCSI validation errors:
Step 1: Load the Student Edit screen and Save the record.

The instructions below will resolve and validate all TCSI required fields of a student record.
Load the Student Edit Details screen record in Paradigm (Student > Edit Details)
Click the SAVE STUDENT button. This will trigger a submission and cross-validation of the student record to TCSI. Check for any error messages on top of the page.
Are there any error messages coming up?
YES:
Refer to the TCSI Validation Errors FAQs
If you can’t find the error code on that FAQ page, raise a Support Ticket
NO:
Make sure that the student record Student > Summary: TCSI Last Validated Status field is now showing VALID. You can also check the Student TCSI UID in the student edit details screen (Student > Edit Details)
Proceed below to validate the student’s Course Enrolment Record

The instructions below will resolve and validate all TCSI required fields of a student course enrolment record.
Load the Student Course Enrolment page, see Load Course Enrolment
Click the SAVE COURSE ENROLMENT button. This will trigger a submission and cross-validation of the student course enrolment record to TCSI. Check for any error messages on top of the page.
Are there any error messages coming up?
YES:
Refer to the TCSI Validation Errors FAQs
If you can’t find the error code on that FAQ page, raise a Support Ticket
NO:
Make sure that the student course enrolment record Student > Summary: COURSE ENROLMENTS section - last column is now showing VALID. You can also check the Program Enrolment TCSI UID field in the student course enrolment details screen.
Proceed below to Submit the Student’s Citizenship Packet and all other required fields/packets via the Student TCSI Edit screen.

The instructions below will resolve and validate the student citizenship packet and all other required packets that can be added and submitted via the Student TCSI Edit screen.
Load the Student TCSI Edit screen, see Load Student TCSI Edit
Edit or add information on the editable fields found on the page.
Go to the STUDENT: CITIZENSHIP section and click the NEW CITIZENSHIP RECORD button. Enter all the required details for a student citizenship record. Note that this is also applicable to students who have changes in their citizenship information.
After filling out the details, click the SAVE DETAILS button.
Are there any error messages coming up?
YES:
Refer to the TCSI Citizenship packet requirements.
If the requirements are all met, refer to the TCSI Validation Errors FAQs if there are still errors
If you can’t find the error code on that FAQ page, raise a Support Ticket.
NO:
You should be able to see the TCSI details on the same screen if the submitted record is VALID.
Proceed below to check and validate each Student’s Unit Enrolment record
Add all the other required reportable packets/fields on the same page.

Load the Unit Enrolment page, see Navigating to a Single Unit Enrolment screen
Click the SAVE UNIT ENROLMENT button.
Are there any error messages coming up?
YES:
Refer to the TCSI Validation Errors FAQs page
If you can’t find the error code on that FAQ page, raise a Support Ticket.
NO:
Make sure that the student unit enrolment record Student > Summary: UNIT ENROLMENTS section - last column is now showing VALID. You can also check the TCSI Unique Identifier field of that unit enrolment within the unit enrolment page TCSI INFORMATION section.
Repeat the same steps for all the other unit enrolment records.
NOTE:
The unit enrolments must be updated with a correct final outcome before attempting to report a final outcome for the course enrolment.
