Summary of Rules

The following outlines the logic we have used to push certain data packets to the B2G API. If you do not have data in the fields below, the record will not be pushed to TCSI.

Courses Of Study (HE Providers Only)

• Must have accreditation dates set.

• Must have a status active

• Must have E310

• Must have E533

• Must have E394

• Must have E350 (blank for cross-institutional course)

• Must have E455

Courses Group

• Must have E307

• Must have E350 - VET Only (blank for cross-institutional course)

• Must have E596 (E596 cannot be greater than E350)

• Must have a status active

• Must have a provider (HEIMS higher education provider)

• Must have a UID3

• Must have a field of education sub packet (HE Providers Only)

• Must have accreditation dates set - E609 and E610

Campuses Group

• Must have a status active

• Optionally should be a HEIMS higher education provider

• Optionally should be a training organisation provider

• Must have Parent Reporting Provider set

• Suburb - E525 - HED only

• Country - E644 - HED Only

• Post Code - E559 - HED Only

• Campus Effective From Date - E609

• Delivery Location Code - E625 (uses AVET071) - VET Only

Courses On Campus Group

• Must be HEIMS higher education provider

• Course must have a UID5 (e.g. Courses Group Record)

• Campus must have a UID2 (e.g. Campuses Group Record)

• E609 - Effective From Date

• E536 - Course Fees Code (E495 is required only when CSP is offered for the course)

Student Group

• Must have a student number

• Must be active

• Must have the home institution set as the main HEP, or as a HEP that has the main HEP listed as the parent HEP

• Must be enrolled in a course with a Course Enrolment Status - Enrolled or have a Tax File Number.

• Must have a birth date

Course Admission Group

• Student must have UID8

• Course must have UID5

• Must have start date

• Must have a course on campus record

Unit Enrolment Group

• Only scheduled units with a census date will be pushed.

• Only units that have a unit type of Tuition Unit will be pushed.

• Course Enrolment must have a UID15

• The scheduled unit provider must have a post code

• The unit must have an EFTSL value - E339

• Unit must have a Unit of Study Code - E354

• The unit must have a discipline code - E464

• The scheduled unit must have a year long indicator - E622

• The unit enrolment start date - E600

• The unit end date - E601

• The unit enrolment status - mapping to paradigm status - E355
