Add, Edit Attendances and Assessment Results (Tutor Access)

NOTE: The following workflows assume that you logged into Paradigm with a Tutor or Staff Permission Level.

1. How to Edit Students' Attendances as a Tutor

NOTE: The instructions below assume that you are already logged into Paradigm with a Tutor or Staff Permission Level.

Once you logged into Paradigm successfully, it lands you on the Dashboard page.

1, 2, 3 On the Dashboard, go to the ‘MY CURRENT YEAR’S SCHEDULED UNITS' section, select the scheduled unit where you want to add the attendances and click the ACTIONS button.

4. The menu option expands, click the ‘Edit Session Attendance’ option to edit a class of students' attendances.

INFO: Select the ‘View Session Attendance’ option to view the current ‘Attendance Listing by Session’. This is optional for teachers to print out and sign this report.

5. After clicking the ‘Edit Session Attendance’ option, you will be redirected to sessions per scheduled unit page.

6. In the SESSIONS ASSOCIATED WITH SCHEDULED UNITS section, select the session time where you want to add the attendances and click the ACTIONS button.

7. Select the ‘Edit Attendance’ option.

8. A list of students who are enrolled in that session will expand, in the ‘Attendance’ column, you can mark each student’s attendance records accordingly.

9. Once you are done recording all the students' attendances for that session, click the ‘SAVE ATTENDANCE’ button.

2. How to Edit Students' Assessments Results as a Tutor

Once you logged into Paradigm successfully, it lands you on the Dashboard page.

1, 2, 3 On the Dashboard, go to the ‘MY CURRENT YEAR’S SCHEDULED UNITS' section, select the scheduled unit where you want to add the attendances and click the ACTIONS button.

4. The menu option expands, click the ‘Edit Class Assessment Results option to have quick access to the assessments of each students who enrolled in the same scheduled unit.

5. In the SCHEDULED ASSESSMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH UNIT section, click the ADD RESULTS button against each assessment.

6. This expands to a list of students, which allows you to enter student’s Raw Mark (Unmoderated), Awarded Mark (Moderated).

7. Click the COPY RAW MARK TO AWARDED MARK AND AUTO UPDATE GRADE button, the system will update these fields: “Awarded Mark”, and “Awarded Grade” (subject to the Grade Schema that has been set up for your business or institution).

8. Select a Status for each assessment result (status can be Audit, Completed, Exempt, Extension, Failed, Provisional, Uploaded, Withdrawn).

9. Click the SAVE RESULT button to save the changes.

3. How to Enter the Extension / Penalty Note for Student’s Assessment

Once you logged into Paradigm successfully, it lands you on the Dashboard page.

1, 2, 3 On the Dashboard, go to the ‘MY CURRENT YEAR’S SCHEDULED UNITS' section, select the scheduled unit where you want to add the attendances and click the ACTIONS button.

4. The menu option expands, click the ‘Edit Class Assessment Results option to have quick access to the assessments of each student who enrolled in the same scheduled unit.

5. In the SCHEDULED ASSESSMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH UNIT section, click the ADD RESULTS button against each assessment.

6. To add the details for an extension or penalty for a single student (Notes, Extension Date, Penalty Type, Penalty Amount), click the EDIT button against each student if required.

7. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and add the details.
