Assumptions

The User understands AVETMISS national reporting, state reporting if applicable
The User has access to AVETMISS Validation software (AVS)
The User has an understanding of txt file formats
The User has downloaded and read the latest version of VET Provider Collection specifications
The user has an understanding of the Australian Vocational Education System.

Key terms and concepts

The Program completed (NAT00130) file contains records for which all requirements for the
completion of the qualification, course or skill set, including on-the-job requirements, have been
met. Completions for Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualifications and courses are
achieved when the client is eligible for the award to be conferred.

File relationships

For each unique Training organisation identifier in the Program completed (NAT00130) file, there
must be one corresponding record in the:
Training organisation (NAT00010) file.
For each unique Program identifier in the Program completed (NAT00130) file, there must be one
corresponding record in the:
Program (NAT00030) file.
For each unique Client identifier in the Program completed (NAT00130) file, there must be one
corresponding record in the:
Client (NAT00080) file.
If there are no program completions to report, then the Program completed (NAT00130) file is not
required.

Workflow

Click on the Report tab on the side menu
Click on AVETMISS option on the side menu
Find AVETMISS Qualification Completed (NAT00130) File, click on Get Report blue button
Refer to the following parameters of generating a report

Institution: don’t need to make selection, leave it blank

AVETMISS Report template: choose 2018 NAT00130 Qualification/Program (Course) Completed (Note: Government has no major updates to the AVETMISS reporting guidelines since 2018)
Submission Year: the year students completed their qualifications
Course enrolment Status: the system has picked Completed as the default.
Funding Source Identifier - State Training Authority: this field is for providers who need to do State VET reporting
Report Mode: choose Ultra fast mode when the option is available

5. Click on Produce Report button
