Course Enrolment Files
This walk through will guide you through the process of attaching files to course enrolment records. For this example let’s walk through attaching a new student letter.
Step 1:
Load the student summary screen, here we are looking at my local testing environment filled with random gibberish data. I’ve loaded up a test student with a course enrollment. We’ll need to click on the [ACTIONS] button in the lower right.
Step 2:
Once we click on [Edit Course Enrolment] we will have loaded the course enrolment data record.
Our next step will be to find the Files subsection of the course enrolment in the navigation bar. Depending on the security permissions, labels and what is visible on your system, your navigation bar may look different.
Step 3:
Navigating to the files section of the course enrolment, we will be looking for this section block. Here we can add a new file attachment.
Step 4:
Here we have an interface we use frequently through the interface for uploading files. For this example we are selecting Purpose: “Student Letter” and Category: “Admission” to describe the purpose of the document. The permission level will define what level of permission is required to view the file. Because I want the student to be able to read this letter, I’ll be setting it to student access level.
When successful the result should show something like this.
Whenever you load a course enrolment, this should now be visible if your account has sufficient permissions.
