Paradigm Error - NO RESPONSE

This is a Paradigm error that occurs when the record being submitted fails to meet the minimum requirements for submission to the government via TCSI. It means it had trouble talking to TCSI and wasn't able to push it.

The error most commonly triggers on unit enrolments where the linked course enrolment has not already been submitted to the government.

Load the course enrolment and then attempt to resubmit the record to TCSI.

Address any validation errors before attempting to report any linked unit enrolments.

If the NO RESPONSE is still triggering, check that the student record has a UID assigned and is valid with no outstanding validation errors.

More things to consider when receiving this error:

  1. Check that the course (Program Edit) has a UID

  2. Check that the home institution of the course enrolment has the parent reporting provider set.

  3. Check that the course enrolment start date is after 1/1/2021. (You can get around this rule, by changing the start date to the 2/2/2021, and then set the original start date back).

  4. Make sure the student number is not A<partyId>.

  5. Make sure the student is Active.
